Showcasing a Unique Metaverse

The Web Summit in Lisbon has always been a hub for innovation, creativity, and technology, and this year was no exception. We had the privilege of being part of this incredible event, by collaborating with the company Xtend3D to present this ambitious Metaverse project that captivated visitors from all over the world.

As artists, we played a crucial role in shaping this immersive digital experience using Unreal Engine. Every detail was carefully crafted, using real photos and measurements taken by us to ensure an authentic and true-to-scale representation of the city. Visitors had the unique opportunity to explore our virtual world, interacting with it via an Xbox controller on a display screen.

Connecting with people worldwide and receiving such great feedback made this event truly inspiring and rewarding.

Cultural Emphasis.

What made this Metaverse truly special was our deep cultural connection to Lisbon. We incorporated key elements that reflect the essence of the city.One of the highlights was the inclusion of a virtual bar inspired by the Ginjinha tradition, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in Lisbon’s local customs.

Another fascinating feature of our Metaverse was an AI-powered avatar that interacted with users, guiding them through the virtual city and providing insights into places they could visit within the experience. This AI interaction added an extra layer of realism and engagement, making the Metaverse feel more dynamic and alive.

Our participation in Web Summit was an incredible journey, demonstrating how art, gaming, and technology can merge to create innovative experiences. Seeing people explore the world we created and appreciate the cultural richness embedded in the project was truly rewarding.
